I'm looking to re home a miniature schnauzer who for whatever reason can't remain in his present family. Dig or bitch, any age considered. I would like to hear why rehome is necessary and appreciate it will have been a tough decision to say goodbye. I've had a rescue dachshund standard adult male who was my absolute best friend. Ive also had a German shorthaired pointer as a young woman and a miniature dachshund when my family were growing- both from puppies. I've read up on temperament and have a friend with a 2year old bitch that joins our regular walking group so I'm aware of grooming and such. I live in a North Yorkshire dales village, plenty of walking routes - and have an enclosed garden for play time. It's important that my new friend will stay downstairs at night, can travel short distances and likes other dogs ( or ignores them) as it's very much a rural area where people are out with their best friends. I'm early retired & active . I do go out to clubs 3 times a week where I can't take dogs and there'll be times when we go to see my grandchildren and friends. It's essential that an adult dog is house trained.
