Add another female schnauzer pup to our family?

Hi. We have a 2 1/2 year old spayed female schnauzer. We would like to add another female schnauzer puppy to our home.
They will be half sisters. Our current dog has a wonderful personality. What are your thoughts on adding another female to our family? The new pup will be ready in March.
