We are looking for a new home for Oscar. He is a 15-month-old mini schnauzer, we have had him for the last 6 months. it has become very apparent he is a very nervous little dog but one who has a lot of love.
Ozzie gets on well with children but they do seem to scare him and put him on edge so we feel he would do best with either a couple or single person with no children.. Oscar will need a lot of one-to-one attention and he does not cope well being left alone in the house.
He currently lives with a 6-year-old male mini schnauzer, and although they get on well, Oscar again seems quite on edge with other dogs and very wary.
He may feel happier being the only dog in the house.... We are fully aware Oscar could be seen as somewhat of a challenge to take on but the glimpses we get of his true personality tell us he will be a wonderful pet with the right person.
If you may be able to offer Oscar the right home, please email: beckycliffe@hotmail.com
NOTE FROM LINDA AND MAX: please make sure you meet Becky's criteria before replying. Oscar sounds like a wonderful little dog, but one which will require a lot of attention to reach his full potential and be completely happy. Please only reply if you have the time to give to him.
