Why have my 9 month old schnoodles started chewing the skirtings?

I guess because they are teething.. you must direct them away from there by giving them appropriate chews then they will learn that the skirtings are not nice, and chews are better... try sprinkling pepper on your skirtings.. it may work.. it did with me, and my Schnauzer, Rebel... he preferred the chew toys... Konks stuffed with goodies are also great and keep puppies occupied for hours..
