Daisy tired after a trip to the park. by: Anonymous
I managed to get passed SPAMBOT, so will try to send a story, I'm afraid I repeated myself in the last post as did'nt spot that an earlier comment was posted, sorry. Well, I'll start at the beginning; we had a beautiful Irish Red Setter as our 1st dog, Rusty, he was one in a million, company for our daughter, Leah. That was in 1983, he died at 14 years of age, and we never got over it. Until we decided to get a Mini Scnauzer. Wanted the most opposite to what we had lost, Gundog to Terrier, Big to Small, Boy to Girl. Then came Daisy... We travelled to Hampshire to collect her at 8wks old, I had gone to see her at 4wks and fell in love with her immediately, the smallest in a litter of 5, pushing in between the others for a prime sleeping spot. Daisy travelled home cuddled inside my daughters coat, and formed a bond that day, if Daisy is unsure and looking for comfort, she goes to Leah. Daisy goes to each of us for very different reasons, I'll post another in a few days. cheers all, Jane and Daisy.
NOTE FROM LINDA: If you can't upload a photos, email them to me at thehandbooks@btinternet.com and I will put them on the website

Daisy says Hi to BENJI.. Rebel & Rambo by: Anonymous
Hi Michele, BENJI.. Rebel & Rambo , sorry for the delay, I have been trying to get past the SPAMBOT check, but it won't let me. I still can't get any pictures on either. Thank you for posting your kind reply, I have been reading lots of your stories, and love all the pics of your furry friends, passed and present. Sorry, I did mean to put Dorset, don't know where Devon came from, I think I have cabin fever, had an op on my toe and been house-bound for 6 weeks, no walking allowed!!! Daisy is getting fed up, as she has to wait for my daughter or hubby to take her out. Shame we are such a distance apart, Daisy gets bullied at the park, I'm sure she would love to race around with your fun-filled trio. She is always covered in mud, I wish she would stand up for herself, but she is just too soft to be dominant. Daisy had her first "filled marrowbone" today, she loved it, she could'nt carry it as she is so small, bless her, that never stopped her getting most of the filling out though. bye for now Jane & Daisy
I'll keep trying with the pics and comments.

Your Daisy.. by: BENJI.. Rebel & Rambo
Hi Daisy.. thanks for your lovely comments about my boys.. we actually live in Dorset.. If you are unable to see the photos of my boys.. and have an email address, we can keep in touch and it's a bit more Private.. my email is .. michele.lawrence@ymail.com I do keep in touch with Linda and Max.. who run the site, and have sent Max Xmas presents, so I hope you'd like to keep in touch too.. I live alone with my three as I lost my hubby in January 2011.. My first mini Rebel 1 in 2005 of Kidney Failure.. he wasn't poorly and I only detected it when he collapsed outside my friend's home.. before that he showed no signs at all.. he passed away in my arms four days later after the vet had tried to cure him.. My black boy Ringo was 15 and he passed away in November 2010 no problem with him as that was age related.. Rebel 2 came on the scene when Rebel 1 had gone.. and now we have " Silly Benji " who will be three in April 2015.. Take care and Happy New Year to you both.. lol Michele xx

Daisy's pics- live on woof-web by: jane -Bristol
Hi Michele, Benji, Rebel and Rambo, I have tried several times to post a reply, but can't get past Spambot check!!!! Thank you for your comments, Daisy does have many coats, all very functional, except her Santa's Helper outfit, that was just for fun...She would prefer to go out without a coat and just get covered in mud, mucky pup! The coats do help as Daisy does get bullied st the park, poor thing. There are a couple of dogs who are really rough with her, she is small, just over 6kg, and even gets dragged by her moustache. I do try not to over-protect her but I do step-in when I see she is not able to help herself, she has'nt learnt to stand her ground with the others. Luckily she is a pocket-rocket, and can run like the wind, not many can out-run her. We are in Bristol, shame not Devon, I'm sure she would enjoy meeting your lovely trio. x
Benji, Rambo & Rebel say she is gorgeous and they are glad that she likes dressing up for Special Days too, because my three are very Special and love dressing up too.. Happy New Year to you and Daisy's first one.. Where do you live in the UK .. we are in Dorset.. lol Michele xx
