Jayne.. This is a wonderful idea and you must be lonely. Certainly do have a dog, but a puppy is not really a good thing. It would be much better for you to get an adult dog of the same size as a mini schnauzer, one that has been trained for such as yourself.. Deaf.. You will have more peace of mind, knowing that your new dog is specially trained for your disability. You may even be lucky and
are able to acquire a schnauzer, if nit I'm sure one little doggy will find it's way to you. Good luck..
