Hi good luck in your search and if you can offer a rescue dog a future home then try a number of rescue centre such as

www.manytearsrescue.org or www.dbarc.org.uk or www.eastmidlandsdogrescue.org


though some dogs can't be rehomed as a sole dog and will need a resident dog to help them settle and adjust but the centres will advise
