Julie, I hope you find one very soon.. they are the most loving breeds, but very vocal.. well mine are and I have two and an Australian Silky terrier called Rambo... Rebel and Benji make the most noise, but not all the time..At least they are quiet at bedtime and all night...but they do sleep with me in my bedroom, as my hubby passed away in January 2011 so I would not be without my boys they are my constant companions and they are excellent guards, but you've probably had Schnauzers before, so don't know why I'm telling you this.. !!!!! Keep us posted..
