Hi my family is looking to rehome a schauzer. Although I have 2 children,they are aged 13 and 10. I am in love with the breed and am recently widowed and like the security of having a dog at home. My email is jacquelineditchburn@yahoo.co.uk I live in Northumberland.

I suggest you try the Schnauzer Rescue in the UK, but make sure that whichever size you choose.. make sure that he or she has papers to verify that the eyes are OK, and that there are Registration Kennel Club ones too.. the minis do have problems if the generation of the dog you get, had, as this causes them to go blind at an early age.. try to get one that is young and that you can adapt him to your way of a routine..
