We are a retired couple and at home virtually all the time. We live in a house. Our garden is of reasonable size and enclosed. We will be able to walk the dog but not for great distances. We have owned a cocker spaniel, an Airedale (rescue bitch) and a Springer spaniel, all lived to 14 years or more. We would like a smaller dog with a nice temperament. We adore all animals but have no dog or cat now. We do not intend to breed.
