Intestinal disease in Schnauzer

My dog has been sick with intestinal disease that makes him suffer from bloody diarrhea once in while for the past five months. He has been treated with different medicines even corticoid to which he has responded better. But after a couple of days or a week he experiences a bout again.
Please help
