my miniature schnauzer (14 inches tall) likes to lay on his stomach when he sleeps, is this anything to be concerned about? He acts like his stomach is tender.

NOTE FROM LINDA AND MAX: It is normal for dogs to lie on their stomachs. If his poo is normal and his skin looks OK, there is probably nothing wrong - but if you think his stomach is painful and he won't let you touch it, (most schnauzers like their tummies gently stroked) then it would be a good idea to get him checked out by a veterinarian.
