Looking for a companion for a slightly depressed mini schnauzer

by Mark
(Nottingham)

7 Apr 2016.
We have a 3 1/2 year old well socialised mini schnauzer who could do with someone to run about with and play tug as my wife is getting tired of running after her and going grrrr (she is at home all day).

We live in a village just outside of Nottingham and have a secure 30' by 60' garden and access to fields and country parks for walks.

Tried various rescues but not found anything so far.

How to find a mini schnauzer to rehome
by: Anonymous

We got our mini via the Schnauzer Club - asked for breeders in our area and then emailed them.

A playmate for your mini
by: Michele ( Benji, Rebel & Rambo

If you go on to the manytears rescue they have lovely minis looking for new Forever Loving Homes.. or post you request on our MINIATURE SCHNAUZER GROUP.. or even Schnauzer Friends UK and I'm sure they will be of help and you will find the perfect pal for your furbaby.. My friend did that as she too lost her schnauzer Joey, age 14, and her mini Mimi was pining and grieving, now she has Alfie and the pair have bonded and are inseparable and she only got Alfie a few days ago.. they even sleep together..

Hello
by: Mark

Would definitely be interested.
Can work on the separation anxiety problem and it would probably be less with another dog around anyway.

My email is mp1673@hotmail.co.uk.

Would you consider my almost 3 year old? Very bright but has separation anxiety issue of left alone. Loving dog who enjoys her walks. Very sad to be even thinking about rehoming her but needs must. I amin London but happy to travel to find her her forever home. She is also a PAT dog & goes to the local hospice and an old eople's home. Could try a trial period & if it doesn't work out, I would have her back. Likes other dogs & a good romp and play with her toys.

Wish I'd written the first post again
by: Mark

Should have also mentioned that our schnauzer hasn't been quite the same since our other dog died 18 months ago and now it's getting back towards summertime she is looking for a friend to sunbathe with.

Keep looking
by: Linda and Max

I was only joking, I am sure you are not tired of your little Schnauzer - they can be quite demanding at times. I too tire of running round the garden pretending to chase Max sometimes! ;)

Many tears
by: Mark

Had a look at many tears and they are all too far away unfortunately.

And when I said my wife was tired of running after our dog I meant tired in the physical sense, not being fed up :)

playful schnauzers
by: Linda and Max

Good luck in your hunt for a companion -have you tried Many Tears Rescue, by the way?
Schnauzers are indeed playful little critters -although I have not yet tired of chasing Max around the sofa with his furry moustache toy in his mouth!
