Looking to adopt / a Schnauzer, Sussex 30th June 24

by Dominic Aiden Desouza-Campbell
(West Sussex)

Up until Easter 2024 I had two beautiful miniature Schnauzers one girl and one boy. Sadly the girl had kidney problems and passed over the rainbow bridge. We are now actively seeking to adopt another schnauzer to keep our boy company. He looks so sad without his little friend. We can offer a loving home where the dogs would get plenty of love, walks and care. I just want my little boy to have a friend again he looks so sad. we are based in Burgess Hill West Sussex.

Adopting a mini
by: Pamela Ciceri Northern Schnauzer Club

Hello so sad to lose your pet, at whatever age and even moreso when you see the sadness in the remaining one.
Please email me with some info regarding age of your remaining dog, whether you work and ideal temperament, age and gender you are seeking? I may not have one immediately but happy to have you on file ready for when arrives.
Good wishes

Hello sorry to hear of your loss. I lost one of mine this year but still have two. They do miss company. There are some looking for homes at many tears rescue based in Wales but dogs fostered at a variety of places. God luck in your search

Very sorry for your loss
by: Linda

Dear Dominic,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure your little boy is very sad to, hopefully you can find him a new Schnauzer friend.

We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home.
Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
You can try The Miniature Schnauzer Club Re-Home and Rescue Trust - contact Caroline Wareing on 01242 696 768.
Or Schnauzerfest on Facebook
The Schnauzer Club of Great Britain helps to rehome all three sizes. You can contact them online at https://www.schnauzerclub.co.uk/contact.php
And the co-ordinator for Northern Schnauzer Rescue is Pamela Ciceri (based in North Yorkshire) Pamela.ciceri@btinternet.com They also help to rehome Schnauzers and will have rescue contacts throughout GB.
Good luck,
Linda
