My husband and I are in our early 50s, fit and healthy, we live in North London with no family or other dogs but with access to a garden and local parks. Neither of us work full time, me only two days a week and my husband from home. We are used to mini schnauzers, looking after a friend's during holidays and each week whilst she is at work and we have had dogs both big and small all our lives. We would now very much like to adopt a dog or bitch and would happily adopt a dog of any age but are not in a position to have a puppy.
I appreciate this precludes us from Many Tears and other Puppy Farm rescue centres because we lack a first dog, but we consider our home to be just as loving and experienced as that with a dog in situ.
