Loving home offered in Herts after loss of Patterdales 7.5.23

I’m looking for a schnauzer rescue dog as we’ve just lost our elderly two patterdales in the last 10 months. In their wonderful memory/tribute I would like to acquire a schnauzer or schnauzer x to give them a loving caring home with lots of lovely walks and fun times. We live in herts. Semi rural.

There are some dogs available at
many tears rescue www.manytearsrescue.org
www.alldogsmatter.co.uk (though they have a area specfic rehoming criteria)
one posted on here in Brighton

Hi Thelma,
Very sorry to hear you lost your Patterdales.
We don't have Schnauzers to rehome ourselves, we put people who have one to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking for a new home for their Schnauzer,
The situation is now changing Since Covid, and dogs have started coming into rescue centres or are being advertised online when owners no longer have the time or money to keep them.
If you do buy online, please check everything very carefully, THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMS and puppy farms/people breeding for profit with little knowledge of Schnauzers.
