Mini 6 month old eating her own poop when she has an accident

I have a 6 month old mini who is potty trained, however, if she has an accident while I am at work, she will eat the evidence! She will 'sometimes' leave it alone, but more times than NOT, it gets eaten. I love her just a little less when she does this!! HELP!

This is called Coprophagia (eating faeces, poop, call it what you will)
It is not unusual for young dogs to do it and they usually grow out of it before they are one year old.

Nobody really knows why they do this and it is not thought to be harmful, but try and keep her away from the poop if you can.
