We have previously owned a 14 year old Schnauzer - he died about 3 years ago. We could not replace him immediately because at that time we had a cat who has since died (aged 23 years!) and with whom a new dog in the family would have been a bit of an unfair pressure.
We feel the time is now right to consider a suitable new dog in the family.
