I need to rehome my standard schnauzer due to his over zealous house guarding
Otherwise he is affectionate and obedient.

I’m so sad you need to let your SS go to a new home. Are you in any groups such as a specialist standard schnauzer group, Mad about Schnauzers, etc thatyou could advertise him in? Also the breeder should be the first port of call, then the SS club of Gt Britain.
