My father is going in a nursing home. He has a prize winning (certificates available)Schnauzer who is female and nearly nine years old. She would need someone to be with her most if not all of the day and does not get on with other dogs.
Having said that she is lovely and once she gets to know you is very affectionate.

What a sad story :(

If you are still looking to rehome lucy we can provide a foorever loving home.

we lost our schnauzer in 2012 and its only just now i am ready to have another pet.

lucy would be very much looked after and would be a lovely addition to our family :)

We are here for anyone, owner, or breeders (ex- breeding dogs ),where money is not the main focus wishing to re-home their Dogs, in safe knowledge that they will be going to a forever home,
If you feel you have to Re-home your Schnauzer because of ill health, or a change in circumstances, we are here to help for free.
We are linked to many facebook groups, and clubs, which are full of crazy, mad about Schnauzer's forever loving homes.
You will not be judged with any sort of attitude or judgment, on the contrary, you will be supported in any way we can with this very difficult decision.
We are only concerned that your dog finds the right home to be forever cared for and loved and you feel you have made the right decision to re-home. This costs you no money, and we only ask the adopter to pay a sum to the rescue to support other dogs in our care.
Home checks, discussions all done with you at the heart of it.

sorry about your father, Lucy looks lovely, hopefully an experienced Schnauzer owner will come forward.
wW put people who have a Schnauzer to rehome in touch with those offering a new home. Hopefully somebody in your area will contact you if they are looking to rehome a Schnauzer.
You could also try Schnauzer Houzer on Facebook, who do a great job of rehoming Schnauzers of all sizes.
