To hand -strip a schnauzer,properly, whichever size, is very time consuming, but very rewarding to see the result of your efforts... These photos are of my effort..on my Rebel..

Yes Rebel does stand still, but to hand-strip him properly, which I have tried to do... it took me 2 hours... and from your very kind comment, I seem to have done a reasonable job.. !!

No question that hand-stripping makes a tremendous difference in the groom.
Rebel looks very handsome. (and still!!!)
