Retirees offer home near Derby

Hi, we have just retired and are fit and active.
Having had two schnauzers before we are keen to offer a home with a good garden and backing onto a park in a rural location near Derby,UK.We have time and patience to give the love and care a dog needs to flourish. Must like children as our grandkids visit.
Ideally would like a young mini or standard . Male or female.
