schnauzer ears

took my mini to get him groomed now he has scabs in his ears. Is this from bad grooming.

NOTE FROM LINDA AND MAX: It doesn't sound good if he didn't have the scabs before he went. Maybe it was the wrong shampoo or the groomer was too rough when removing ear hair - unless the scabs were there beforehand, in which case, your groomed should have mentioned that he had them. We'd be looking for another groomer.
