Why has my schnuazer's silver hair turned a pinky colour?

You do not say where your Schnauzer's hair is turning pink. if it's the soft fur on his legs and feet, maybe he is nibbling when you are not seeing him do it, or if it's his wire coat,, then it could be you are mistaken for the pink being a light brown due to him being pepper and salt.. try to post a photo of him then we may be able to answer your question..seeing where his change of colour is on his body..
