Schnauzer Lover is in Mourning. RIP Lola

I am so sad to say that we lost one of our three Schnauzers today.
I had a very tramatic experience yesterday with her. She vomited really bad, then about 1 hour later she started having seizures. Rushed her to the vet, first thing I told him was she had Trifexis the day before.
They kept her overnight trying to keep her from seizing. She had a major seizure this afternoon and her heart gave in and she didn't make it. Although we had only had her 2 years (she was a rescue, that was almost dead from starvation and had heartworms which we healed her of) it still broke our hearts.
The most tramatic thing was watching her during the seizures. It was horrible, hope I never have to see it again. NO MORE Trifexis. All vets should warn their patients about these side effects, nothing was ever told to me, and now I have lost a beloved pet.
RIP LOLA!!!!!!

R.I.P. Lola
by: Natasha

My heartfelt condolences go out to you. I'm so sorry you lost your dear Lola. At least she knew some love for two years of her life while she had you.

RIP Lola...
by: Michele

PLEASE visit Rainbow Bridge and read my story as I too have lost my beloved boys .. Rebel 1 in June 2005 .. & my other .. Ringo in November 2010.. Rebel 1 was only 11 but was poorly for only 4 days and went in my arms.. Ringo was 15 and it was his age.. I miss both so much, and to be really cruel.. my Hubby passed away in January 2011.. Remember the wonderful memories and maybe you'll add another rescue so the ones you have won't grieve too much..
Love Michele x

What Lola might tell you
by: Bella

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say
But first of all, to let you know that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from the Rainbow Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above
Here there is no more tears of sadness; there is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you badly, you are part of My Plan
There's so much we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things that He wished for me to do
And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you,
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are close to you in the middle of the night.

When you think of life on earth and all those loving years
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain
Remember there could be no flowers, unless there could be some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over
Now, more than ever before, my life to you is closer.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too
That as you give to the world, the world will give to you.
Then you can say to God at night and "my day was not in vain."
And now I am contented that my life was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
Lend a hand to pick him up as on your way you go.

When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go, from your body to be free,
Remember you're not going. You're coming here to me.
