Schnauzers do not shed their coats..puppies or adults, as they have a double coat... wire coat with soft fur under, and their coats are waterproof and this is why they are good for people that are allergic to dog fur.. you have to use a shedding / stripping comb to take their puppy fur out, otherwise it will just grow and look very untidy... your groomer will show you.. why do you ask.. and why have you a 3 week old puppy, unless you bred from your bitch and she has only had one puppy.. that's OK..
