Sushi the Schnoodle
by: Anonymous

I just rescued a schnoodle. She is 13 weeks old and weighs 4 lbs. She has small feet. Foster mom said she’d probably weigh 6 lbs as an adult. Don’t know about her parents.

NOTE FROM LINDA: That sounds very small for a Schnoodle, one of the parents must have been a Toy Poodle. Don't be surprised if she grows a bit bigger. Good luck with her!

Sounds like your Schnoodle is the product of a mini schnauzer and a toy or miniature poodle, so your schnoodle is not going to be very big. Probably a bit smaller than the mini schnauzer

Size of Schnoodle

Hi! I recently adopted a schnoodle. He is 14 weeks and weighs 6 lbs. His dad was a 7.5 lb chocolate poodle and his mom a salt and pepper 18 lb schnauzer. Mine is all black with a little white on his chin. The vet said she thinks he will only be 8lbs and the breeder said they are generally the size of the mom. Any ideas how big mine will get??

Thank you!

How big do Schnoodles grow?
by: Linda and Max

Hi Ginny,
Did you see both of your Schnoodle's parents? If so, this would be the easiest way of judging how big your Schnoodle will be, as your pup will be a size in between the 2 parents.

If you didn't see the 2 parents do you know what size or breed of Schnauzer/Poodle they both were? Again, this will give you a good idea of how big yours will grow.
If the answer to both of the above is NO, then take a look at his or her paws! If your Schnoodle has big paws, he will grow into a big Schnoodle - and vice versa! Have you got a picture you could send us?
