I have had schnauzers for over 17 years and at present I live part of the year on the Isle of Wight and some months living in Southern Spain. I do follow a number of dog rescues world wide one of which being Spanish Stray Dogs who do a fantastic job finding homes in many countries in Europe - Finland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and the UK.
Spanish Stray Dogs rescue centre based in Southern Spain near Gibraltar (Los Barrios) has a beautiful salt and pepper schnauzer who was handed in as a stray.
Spanish Stray Dogs
Steven was found in the street, and although he seemed to be very well cared for and healthy, nobody has come to claim him.
He is very sad at life in the council pound and would love a new home.
Spanish Stray Dogs have been saving dogs and have been able to rehome many of them worldwide. They have a service to get the dog from Spain to the UK with all the injections and paperwork done. Spanish Stray Dogs in the UK contact is:-
