Tearing up pillow

My one year old is starting to chew up my silk pillow. We walk every day then I leave for work I’m gone sometimes 4 to 5 hours ?

Adolescents can often push the boundaries - especially if they are bored or under-stimulated.
Sounds like he is not happy at being left on his own so long. Imagine a bored teenager....they can become destructive.

Try and increase his daily exercise, give him toys or a King stuffed with a treat or a Lickimat to keep him occupied - and play some games with him when you are around.
