white beard now brown

why is our schnauzer's white beard turning a coppery brown color?
What can we do to turn this around?

You might want to consider filtering your water. It could have tooo many minerals in them and it can cha ge their color of their beards. I went to filtering and had no problems.

Dogs with allergies sometimes have paws that are itchy causing the dog to lick the paws. And, it is very common for a white paw or white beard to turn a rust color due to the excess saliva.

Could this be possible?
