White mini in Switzerland - What questions should I ask the breeder?

We live in Switzerland (but are American) and have had a hard time locating a breeder because they are not as popular here.
We did find a breeder locally, but for white schnauzers which we weren't considering at first. We both grew up with schnauzers in our families, so this will not be our first - but the white is new to us.

What questions should I ask the breeder? He tells me the parents and grand parents are champions (but can that be with whites?), and I know about the eye diseases and asking for certificates.
Anything else I should ask or look for? And if anyone knows about owning/buying schnauzers in Switzerland/Europe please let us know! I do know we have to register him and take him to school here! It's a law.
